MICHAEL P. CARBONE, is a mediator, arbitrator, special master and referee with ADR Services, Inc. and the American Arbitration Association.  He resolves legal disputes in a wide variety of fields and is known for handling challenging and difficult disputes.

His dispute resolution and law practice has included real estate, business, construction claims and defects, estate and trust matters, personal injury cases, health care, employment, legal malpractice and many other kinds of civil matters.

He has been a lawyer for more than forty years.  He holds his B.S. and J.D. degrees from the University of San Francisco, where he was a member of the Law Review and the McAuliffe Honor Society.

He is a founder and past president of The Mediation Society, a member of the California Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, the Northern California International Arbitration Club, the Academy of Court Appointed Masters, and many other professional associations. 

He is a frequent author and lecturer on dispute resolution issues and publishes a monthly newsletter entitled "Resolving It" as well as a blog entitled "Mediation Strategies."
